About Jovy
Hi, I’m Jovy, a dedicated tutor with 3.5 years of tutoring experience and a strong academic background in Chemistry. I achieved an A+ in SPM Chemistry and have developed a clear understanding of the concepts, formulas, and examination techniques needed to perform well in the subject.
I believe Chemistry becomes much easier when students truly understand the concepts instead of simply memorizing everything. My teaching style is patient, structured, and practical, with a strong focus on helping students understand difficult topics and apply their knowledge through practice questions.
I am comfortable teaching students of different ability levels, whether they are struggling with the basics, aiming to improve their grades, or preparing for their SPM examinations.
My goal is to make Chemistry less intimidating, build students’ confidence, and help them achieve results they can be proud of.

My Chemistry lessons are designed to help students understand the key concepts before applying them through question practice.
I will first explain the important concepts, formulas, chemical equations and key points that students need to know. I make sure students understand the topic clearly before moving on to exercises.
Most of the lesson will then focus on practising exam-style questions. I will guide students step by step, explain how to approach different types of questions, and highlight common mistakes so that students can improve their answering techniques.
My lessons are suitable for SPM students of different ability levels, whether they need to strengthen their foundation, improve their understanding of difficult topics or prepare more effectively for examinations.
Each lesson is 1 hour 30 minutes or 3 hours, depending on the student's needs. My teaching approach is practical, structured and exam-focused, with plenty of opportunities for students to practise and apply what they have learned.
