About Rebecca
Hi, I’m Rebecca! I graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Human Biology and later earned my Master’s in Exercise Science from the University of Virginia. My academic work focused on human development, performance, and health. These are all fields that have shaped the way I understand learning, motivation, and confidence. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working in roles that are centered on teaching, mentoring, and supporting others. I’ve served as a Division I student-athlete, a graduate assistant coach, a medical assistant, and a research associate. In each of these experiences, I found myself drawn to helping people understand themselves better, whether that meant breaking down a complex concept, guiding someone through a challenge, or simply being someone who listens and believes in them. I definitely know what it’s like to balance school, sports, work, and life, and I know how overwhelming learning can sometimes feel. My approach to tutoring is patient, individualized, and encouraging. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions, confident in their abilities, and proud of their progress.
