About Sruti
Hello! My name is Sruthi, I am a STEM graduate and Clinical Researcher with a passion for teaching and mentoring students. I have tutored/taught for over 9 years, and began tutoring in High School as a Tutoring Leader at my Early College Program. I continued gaining experience tutoring as a College STEM TA/Tutor, and a Freelance tutor over the last 8 years. I believe in a concept-driven approach to tutoring. Helping students gain confidence and improve scores by prioritizing a strong understanding of fundamental principles. Along with my work in tutoring, I have worked in the STEM field for over 10 years in pre-clinical medical research, healthcare analytics, and clinical research. Throughout the past 10 years, I have worked as a mentor and supported high school and college students to help them find opportunities. I organized an outreach program between Duke University and my high school, and have worked with several students seeking research opportunities and internship experience. I tutor for STEM courses, Exam prep and provide college counseling services.
