About Yuzuka

Are you interested in learning Japanese but…
– don’t know where to start?
– love anime or manga but feel that Japanese is difficult?
– study with apps but rarely speak?
– plan to move to Japan and want to learn the basics?

If yes, you are in the right place! Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together and make it part of your everyday life. I’m looking forward to meeting you!

【About me】
こんにちは/Hello! I’m Yuzuka, a native Japanese speaker born and raised in Japan.

I’ve lived abroad for over 10 years ( New Zealand for 4 years, Czech Republic for 6 years)
and I’m currently based in France.

I love traveling, anime, manga, and learning about different cultures!

Because I’ve learned several foreign languages myself, I understand how challenging it can be to move from textbook Japanese to real, natural Japanese!

◉ Languages:
- Japanese (native)
- English (business level)
- French (B1 – currently learning)

◉ Work experience: 10 years of professional experience in Japanese companies
- 3 years at a Japanese inbound tourism company in Tokyo
- 7 years at a study abroad agency in Tokyo and Prague

About the lesson

【Lessons with Yuzuka】
My lessons are mainly designed for beginners or those who improve the foundation which you have already built. I will teach you step by step using some visual slides and have speaking practice a lot.

If you are intermediate, I will focus more on conversation to help you speak more confidently and naturally in real life situations.

My lesson style:
- Personalized lessons based on your goals, level, and interests
– Essential basics (hiragana & katakana if needed)
– Simple and clear grammar explanations
– Pronunciation practice
– Useful daily and travel phrases
– Speaking activities and conversation practice to build confidence
– Japanese culture through anime, manga, songs, and real-life situations
- English or French support when needed

My goal is to help you truly understand the language and speak naturally while enjoying the learning process★

Learning a new language can feel intimidating, especially at the beginning. I aim to create a supportive, relaxed, and motivating atmosphere where you can feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes!

Let’s enjoy learning Japanese together!

*This introduction video was recorded a little while ago. I’ll upload an updated one soon, but my teaching style and approach remain the same!

Perfect! Yuzuka, thank you so much for being my Japanese tutor. I truly appreciate how kind, gentle, and sweet you've been throughout our lessons️ You held my hand as I picked up my broken mother tongue, never making me feel ashamed or frustrated. Your patience and warmth made all the difference.
