About SUSAN
Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of high school math courses, including Algebra I, Algebra II, Algebra III, Probability and Statistics, Academic Geometry, Honors Geometry, and Calculus, primarily to students in grades 10-12. Beyond the classroom, I have been deeply involved in school life through volunteering, chaperoning school events, fundraising, advising the National Honor Society and various student clubs, and participating in the Student Assistance Program, where I supported students facing personal challenges. I am also a mom of two daughters who have gone through the school system, which gives me a parent's perspective on academic pressure, confidence, and the importance of clear communication and support. These experiences shape my professional, patient, and supportive approach to tutoring. While I enjoy teaching many areas of math, Geometry remains my favorite subject to teach, and I bring that enthusiasm to every session.

I am a certified high school math teacher with over 30 years of experience teaching Geometry and Honors Geometry. While I teach other high school math topics as well, Geometry is my specialty and my favorite to teach. I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into clear, easy-to-understand steps so students gain confidence and truly understand the material, not just memorize it. I work with students at all levels, from those who are struggling to those enrolled in Honors courses who want to strengthen their skills and improve performance.
