About Heather
My name is Heather Hollingsworth, and I am an experienced STEM tutor. My academic journey began at St. Petersburg High School, where I received my IB diploma. I found strong success in my HL Biology and Chemistry courses, and began tutoring my friends for fun.
I continued this at Florida State University, where I received my bachelor's in Chemistry. I was an active member of Phi Mu Fraternity, and was declared the Chemistry Tutor of the chapter. I often led study sessions and assisted sisters with homework. This was truly the beginning of a journey.
The school hired me as an Organic Chemistry II tutor starting the second semester of my Junior year. Here, I led a laboratory section and held office hours often to assure my students had everything they needed to be successful in a rigorous science course.

I am here for whatever you need and promise that I am very patient. Typically, my teaching is interactive, and I love to do the practice problems with the student. It is crucial to understand the reasoning. I find that I love to utilize outlines and drawing/art; there's a great place for fun things within the realm of science.
From High School Introductory Chemistry to Organic Chemistry II, I am here to assist you in building a strong foundation to help you flourish in your academic career.
