About Linhly
I specialize in tutoring Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, and Elementary Math for students in grades K-12. My lessons are tailored to each student's unique learning pace and style, ensuring no one is left behind. Breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps, making math approachable and even enjoyable! As both a mentor and a cheerleader, creating a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel confident to ask questions and tackle challenging problems is a must for me. Every lesson begins with getting to know you and your goals, your strengths, and the areas where you'd like to grow. From there, I craft a personalized lesson plan designed around your specific needs, whether that means revisiting foundational concepts, tackling tricky homework problems, or preparing for an upcoming test. No two students learn the same way, so no two lessons look the same!
Together, we'll work through problems step by step, with me guiding you through the thinking process rather than just handing you answers. The goal is for you to walk away not only understanding the material, but feeling genuinely confident in your ability to solve problems on your own. Celebrating small wins along the way is just as important as reaching the big milestones because confidence in math is built one breakthrough at a time. I'm here to make sure every session leaves you feeling more capable and motivated than when we started!
