About Laura

I'm a CAT tutor with two years of tutoring experience, specialising in helping learners understand computer concepts through simple explanations and practical, hands-on lessons.

What makes me unique is my ability to break down complicated topics into manageable steps without making learners feel overwhelmed. I create a comfortable learning environment where learners can ask questions, make mistakes and learn at their own pace.

I focus on more than just helping learners pass. I want them to develop practical computer skills, become independent problem-solvers and gain confidence in using technology.

My teaching philosophy: Making technology less intimidating and learning more practical, relatable and enjoyable.

About the lesson

1. Practical, hands-on learning – Learners don't just memorise theory. They work with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and HTML through actual exercises.
2. Breaking down complicated concepts – You explain things in simple, understandable language, making even challenging topics easier to grasp.
3. Learning at the learner's pace – You recognise that not everyone understands technology at the same speed. You give learners room to practise, make mistakes and improve.
