About Afonso
As a teacher I aim to give my students a safe space to grow as students and people.
I am currently studying a degree in English and North American literatures and cultures, which allows me to have a more in-depth knowledge of the language.
I have a passion for this language and I would like to pass it on to my students! I believe that with me you will discover the pleasure and fun that is English!

I intend to improve my students' English language skills, encouraging the use of creativity and critical thinking. This is to provide a safe and free space for creation, where mistakes are accepted as a fundamental process for learning a language.
My classes go beyond grammar exercises. I intend to make educational games, create creative texts, and much more! Furthermore, I have previous experience in dramatic arts, so I can relieve you of the anxiety that you have the displeasure of experiencing during the dreaded oral presentations.
