Hi !
I am young and enthusiastic, student at Paris-Saclay University in Mathematics-Computer Science.
Having taught English for a month in Nepal, I loved the experience and I am delighted to be able to teach in France the subject that interests me: mathematics.
I left high school, where I learned the hard way that there are better methods than others to learn, and that these methods depend on the student but also on his objectives and his situation. These student specificities cannot be taken into consideration by middle school/high school teachers, who are forced to focus on the general level of the class as a whole.
After a few weeks, you should see significant differences in your grades and the clarity of what you're learning in math.

My teaching methods can be discussed and adapted according to the student's situation, but I generally adopt a pragmatic method which consists in maximizing the student's average by putting practice above theory.
I believe that it is often more important to focus on short-term grades rather than on the general level in mathematics over the long term, which will be worked on in higher education according to the student's performance in college and in high school.
Unless otherwise agreed, I will teach the student in the most effective way possible in order to achieve the objectives that we have defined upstream, or to exceed them.
On the contrary, if the objective seems to be to build a solid level in mathematics for the long term, we can allow ourselves to be more interested in theory, and to go beyond the program of the school year.
Whatever your objectives, I will keep them in mind throughout the teaching and I will adapt my exercises, the proportions of theory / practice as well as the elements to be deepened in order to maximize my contribution to the student to achieve the desired objectives.
In order to better prepare for my lessons, I may be required to ask the student to give me the exercises done in class, since very similar exercises are generally requested in control. I will take care on my side of preparing exercises in the same spirit, and we will apply the methods seen in class so as not to confuse the student with new methods.

Perfect! Alexandre a donné des cours à mon fils en classe de seconde. Alexandre est très sérieux, pédagogue et prend le temps d’expliquer. Il a su mettre mon fils à l’aise pour lui poser toutes les questions. Il adapte les cours en fonctions des besoins (préparer des contrôles, revoir des notions non acquises, ou encore s’avancer dans le cours et aborder des notions pas encore vues en classe). Je recommande vivement Alexandre !
Perfect! Je recommande vivement Alexandre à tous les parents en quête d'un professeur de mathématiques compétent et bienveillant. Nous lui sommes très reconnaissants pour le soutien qu'il a apporté à nos enfants ! Il a su s'adapter aux besoins spécifiques de chacun : notre fille, en première avec spécialité mathématiques, et notre fils, en classe de 4ème, qui rencontre des difficultés dans cette matière. Dans les deux cas, Alexandre a proposé des méthodes d'apprentissage adaptées, et désormais, nos enfants abordent leurs devoirs et examens avec beaucoup plus de sérénité.

Excellent prof! Il m'a donné une dizaine de cours de spé maths en Terminale et j'ai compris très vite des notions que je ne comprenais pas en cours. Il venait toujours préparé avec des exercices en tête et des choses à voir.
Ma fille est en 3ème et Alexandre lui a donné plusieurs cours de maths cette année dont elle a été très satisfaite ! Alexandre me semble très pédagogue, patient et à l'écoute. Il est également très agréable et enthousiaste à l'idée de donner des cours. Vous pouvez compter sur lui sans problèmes.
J'ai connu Alexandre car c'est le fils d'une amie de ma mère, il m'a donné des cours de maths l'année dernière lorsque j'étais en Première avec spé maths.
J'avais eu le Covid et donc pris beaucoup de retard sur mes cours, mais il a été très patient et m'a aidé à comprendre tous les concepts dont j'avais raté les explications en cours. J'ai pu me remettre assez vite sur mes pieds, puis on a commencé à solidifier mes connaissances pour viser un niveau encore plus haut (que je n'avais jamais atteint auparavant). C'est en grande partie à lui que je dois mon 17,5 de moyenne en maths au dernier trimestre de Première. Je le recommande vivement et c'est à lui que je ferai appel si j'ai des difficultés cette année en maths expertes.Alexandre a été très attachant et son approche m’a de comprendre certains enjeux et conseils de la matière complètement ignorés en classe.
