About Julia
I am a student at Portland State University with a passion for history. My specializations are in medieval history and German history, but I am qualified to tutor and knowledgeable about general European history and general American history. I can best advise students on how to conduct grade-appropriate historical research, link students to resources for research, format papers for history classes, help explain historical concepts, and brainstorm ways to truly engage with the material. As a special needs student myself, I work well with students with special needs and understand that traditional approaches in the classroom are not always effective.
