About Roosevelt
Hi! I'm May, and training as a student teacher to become an English teacher. I take great pride in my academic writing and creative writing work and hope to encourage others to take pride in theirs as well.
As a student, I can understand the frustration of not understanding a concept or not being able to find the right words. But, having overcome that obstacle many times with myself and other students at my school who I've tutored I am confident I can raise up and assist any student who needs my help.

Lessons are meant to help with essay writings and understanding texts both fiction and nonfiction.
For example, understanding context and use of literary devices of different pieces of literature. Applying writers techniques in an analysis in an essay is also a skill I can help foster.
Also, learning how to develop a through, sophisticated and well written paper that answers the given prompt.
Lessons apply for any English class (CP, Honors and AP) offered in middle school or high school levels.
