About Brenda
I am currently studying a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry at the University of Costa Rica; although for some time I have participated in activities related to this field. In 2018, 2019 and 2020 I participated in OLCOQUIM (National Chemistry Olympics) and this experience brought me much closer to the area. :)
I have been providing high school tutoring in Chemistry and Algebra since 2019, offering my students various teaching resources to reinforce their learning.
As a student, I understand the doubts, insecurities and uncertainty that we can experience during our learning process, and I could not disagree more that these tendencies continue during our academic training.
I try to give my students the security and confidence they need.

My classes in chemistry and algebra are quite dynamic. My objective is, mainly, the understanding and identification of diverse concepts that the theory offers us; the understanding about the calculation mechanism and generate a deductive thought regarding these; also, generate in my students the necessary confidence about their knowledge. :)
I use various types of resources depending on what I can identify as your way of learning, from videos, practices, documents, readings, summaries, etc.

La conozco hace muchos años y es una persona amable y paciente, se toma su tiempo para explicar un tema y si no entienden a la primera, busca otra forma que se acople a la persona para que entienda.
Es muy creativa, busca actividades que llame la atención de sus estudiantes y eso es un plus para mi porque soy muy dispersa y me mantiene entretenida.
A parte le gusta enseñar a las personas y que estás al final aprendan y puedan lograr sus metas. Al final se nota lo orgullosa que se siente de que sus alumnos puedan superarse.View more recommendations
