About Katie
I’ve had lots of experience teaching others after being part of the Army Cadet Force. I believe that we should adapt to teach the way the student understands whilst simultaneously pushing them to do their best. Following this approach, I find it’s best to establish the basics and then build up to harder questions whilst nipping any errors in the bud. Teaching should be about communication between both parties therefore ensuring the best quality work.

I’m currently studying Mathematics and Computer Science BSc at the University of Exeter. I received A*A*AAA at A level as well as being head girl. After having such amazing GCSE maths and computer science teachers, I completely fell in love with the subjects and spent hours wrapping my head around the tricky concepts. I always enjoyed helping other people understand different problems and explaining it in a new way.
