About Clemmie
Hi I’m Clemmie and I would love to help students in their French studies, from beginners level up to GCSE, in which I achieved a grade 9. I’m off to Newcastle university this September where I’ll be studying modern languages, French (post a-level route) and Spanish (ab initio) combined. I have experience tutoring local children from ages 6-12 so far and have been doing this for around 3 years. I also have experience volunteering in French classes at my senior school as an assistant with children aged 11-16.

I hope to make tutoring enjoyable, and to make it as interesting as it can be for students. I understand that each student works differently from another, and so it’s important to find a method that works for each individual. Dependent on the students age and current level of French, I will draw a plan that specifically mirrors their syllabus, as well as determines their strengths and weaknesses in the subject. My forte lies in grammar, however I am equally keen to help in everything else French, whether that’s in oral, reading, writing or listening skills. I can also share my revision strategies that helped me through my exams.
