About Thomas
I'm a passionate programmer who loves to make cool software, but also loves to teach. I am currently working with a Supply Teaching company based in my local area too! I always thought about teaching from when I was young - but my original plan was to teach maths. Then as I grew up, I moved away from the thought of teaching, and wanted to become a software engineer. That is something I have now done - at 18 I run my own business where I have worked for an amazing global clientele. A couple years ago, though, I realised: "I still really like sharing my knowledge, I could teach IT" -and now that's something I aim to do alongside running my software engineering business!

I can teach using a set curriculum/topic that you are stuck on, or I can create lessons to tailor to the student's interests/needs. I can provide detailed feedback, optional homework/self-directed research & study, etc. My typical lesson length is around 1 hour. If you need more time I will work to accommodate that. If you need less time (due to time constraints, etc) I can work to accommodate that too! My qualifications include: - Work Experience @ my own primary school, providing 1:1 support to students in various subjects and assisting with IT lessons. - Online teaching @ Ignite Hubs: I created and taught an online curriculum for Roblox game development. - My college course: I have a lot of industry experience, as such I have gone ahead and helped my lecturer sort out resources, plans, etc for our college course. Lessons are for various levels - I can teach primary, secondary, A-Level, FE, HE.
