About Asha
With over four years of French teaching experience and a Graduate Certificate in French-English Translation, I help students combine language learning with environmental awareness. My lessons include Francophone media, discussions on climate change, and sustainability topics. Students develop vocabulary, comprehension, and conversational skills while exploring ecological issues. I work with globally-minded students, professionals, and anyone interested in conservation. Lessons focus on reading, speaking, listening, and writing in engaging, real-world contexts. I emphasize cultural understanding, precise communication, and environmental literacy. Every session is customized to the student’s level and objectives. Students gain confidence discussing ecological initiatives and climate solutions in French. My approach blends language skill-building with meaningful content. Learning French becomes a way to act, discuss, and think globally. Together, we explore sustainability, culture, and language in harmony.

My teaching approach centers on health, wellness, and everyday French conversation. Students learn to describe symptoms, ask questions at a pharmacy, and discuss wellness habits. Lessons use role-play and practical exercises to ensure active participation. Travelers and academic learners gain confidence speaking spontaneously. I focus on clear pronunciation and natural conversation flow. Reading labels, forms, and instructions in French is part of the lessons. Cultural tips help students understand healthcare etiquette in French-speaking countries. Each session is personalized to the learner’s level and goals. I provide immediate feedback to reinforce correct usage. Lessons emphasize practical application of language. Students gain vocabulary, fluency, and confidence. Learning is interactive, enjoyable, and focused. By the end, students can handle health and wellness conversations in French independently.
