About Rosie

Hey guys! My name is Rosie and I am a 24 female living in Darwin. I am a local swim teacher and I would love to teach some private lessons on the side. Swimming is more of a passion than it is a job, I have over 12 years experience in the pool! I am quite a bubbly, happy and smiley individual who really enjoys working with kids. I do teach other levels (adults etc) if interested :)

About the lesson

If there is more than 1 child interested I offer group discounts the more the merrier!! I love dealing with kids and making sure my lessons are the perfect amount of fun, learning and of course safety! I would love for everyone to leave my lessons feeling a sense of accomplishment, with a smile on your face and most importantly motivated and excited for some more lessons and learning! :) Just request a lesson for any more details! I am happy to help with any inquiries.

Rosie has been the most trustworthy and supportive swim teacher I could have asked for. When I first started with her, I couldn’t swim and had no confidence in the water at all. She took me under her wing, never gave up on me, and encouraged me every step of the way. Because of Rosie’s patience, kindness, and belief in me, I not only learned how to swim but also gained the confidence to be out in open water something I never thought I’d achieve. She made me feel safe, capable, and proud of myself, and that’s why I know she will make a truly great teacher for anyone lucky enough to learn from her.

Where do I begin? Rosie is phenomenal. Her patience and kindness are just incredible. She is a very approachable and bubbly lady. Naturally you just gravitate towards her from personality alone, never mind her ability to teach. Teaching me new skills and then giving me confidence as she does recognise and help me improve the skills i do already have. She gives me encouragement.

Rosie was a swimming instructor for my class. She was very helpful, she was great with the children. She made children who had never swam before feel confident while also challenging the stronger swimmers to push themselves. An amazing teacher!!!

I had Rosie as a swim teacher years ago. Was terrified of the water before starting with her. However, at the end I felt so comfortable a weekly swim at the beach become my weekly routine
