About Kevin
I've spent years working professionally in IT delivery, holding myself to a high standard and pushing to become a genuine expert rather than settling for 'good enough.' I regularly solve problems that others have given up on, the kind of long-standing issues most people just work around instead of fixing. Alongside that, I've provided extensive training and technical writing over the years, everything from complete beginners to Level 1 and 2 technical teams supporting customers and systems, so I'm comfortable adjusting my teaching to whatever level you're starting from. Being customer-service focused is what shapes how I teach: it's made me quick to understand exactly what you need, and it's why I'm patient, thorough, and genuinely invested in making sure things actually click for you, not just glossed over. You are the center of my curriculum. My lessons are fully tailored to what you actually need, not a fixed syllabus. Before we start, I figure out your goals and current skill level, then build the lesson around that: whether it's getting comfortable with a computer for the first time, troubleshooting problems yourself, or picking up specific advanced skills for work or a project. Everything is hands-on and practical, focused on what's actually useful to you, not generic material that doesn't apply to your situation.
