About Blake
I grew up in a ministry family. My mother and father were missionaries to the Native Americans in South Dakota. I became a pastor 11 years ago, after years of straying away from the path of God. I thought there was no way God would allow me to do anything for his Kingdom, but God in his gracious mercy called me out of darkness, and allowed to preach the Gospel of his Son Jesus Christ. My ministry experience includes homeless ministry, counseling, drug rehabilitation, youth pastoring, lead pastoring, evangelism, and general community outreach. I am an ordained minister.

I believe you have to be hands on, and both see and do what you are trying to get better at. In order to get better at preaching and teaching, my students must put together sermons and practice preaching and teaching them. They must also listen to many different kinds of preachers and teachers to see different types of techniques. A typical lesson would include sermon prep, historical background, the purpose of illustrations, utilizing the original biblical languages, and properly exegeting the text. These lessons are for anyone who wants to learn how to preach or teach.
