About Emily
I am a Grade 12 student with almost one year of experience tutoring high school math, including advanced functions, calculus, and data management. I understand how frustrating math can feel because I struggled with it myself for years, which is why I focus on being patient, supportive, and explaining concepts in a clear and understandable way for students.

My lessons are focused on helping high school students better understand math through clear explanations and step by step practice. I usually begin by reviewing what the student is currently learning in class, then work through examples together before giving practice questions. Since I used to struggle with math myself, I try to explain concepts in a way that feels less overwhelming and easier to understand.
