About Ella
I am a Teacher of History and Politics at a high-achieving school in North West London. I graduated from the University of Leeds with a high 2:1 in Ancient History and History, and also achieved 80/100 in my dissertation (top 5% in my cohort). I have an MA in Cultural Heritage Management where I achieved a Distinction. I achieved 90/100 and a Distinction in my PGCE, hence I was top of my cohort.
I am offering tutoring to students who would like to improve their confidence in GCSE History, as well as improve their written communication skills.

The lessons will focus on developing students’ understanding of concepts and contexts through a range of pedagogical techniques. This is because in History it is important to understand the wider importance of events in order to achieve a high grade. In a series of lessons, students will be given homework to study a certain topic. Then, during our session, we will plan and complete exam style answers together so that students are focussed on developing their exam technique.
