About Eri
am an educator and a lifelong student of language. Holding a PhD and having served as a University Lecturer for over five years, my life has been dedicated to exploring how languages are structured, how they sound, and how they connect us to the world.
Why I Teach
I teach because I believe that language is the ultimate key to unlocking new opportunities. Whether it is the rhythmic precision of English, the intricate mechanics of RP (Received Pronunciation), or the fascinating structural logic of Japanese, I find immense joy in helping others navigate these paths.
My transition from the university lecture hall to private tutoring was driven by a desire for deeper connection. In a large classroom, I am a lecturer; in a one-on-one session, I am a partner in your academic journey. There is nothing quite as rewarding as seeing a student move from confusion to mastery—whether that means perfecting a specific vowel sound in English phonetics or finally feeling "at home" with Japanese syntax.
