About Maria
Hi!
My name is Maria and I will be your tutor. I have been studying Maths, Physics and Chemistry at A-level and I wish to study Chemical Engineering at university. Since I am also studying, I can share my academic experiences and tips with you. Please think of me as a mentor and teacher.

-Lessons are 30mins to 1hr long.
- 1 or 2 topics covered i.e. rules of indices, ionic equations, half-life equations.
-1/3 of lessons: teaching content and knowledge.
-1/3 of lessons: modelling how to answer exam questions.
-1/3 of lessons: practicing exam questions and giving feedback along the way.
-Lessons are tailored for GCSE students who are struggling with Maths and Science, I could also do Spanish and French.
- Since I did the 1-9 exams I am able to teach the new content and give out study tips to get a better grade. I have experience of sitting the GCSE exams.
- I teach my friends Maths (at GCSE and A-level), one of my friends went from Set 4 to Set 1 and got an 8 in Maths at GCSE.
