Hi! I’m Ted, a friendly and approachable A-level student with a real passion for English. I achieved 9s in both English Language and Literature at GCSE, and I love helping others develop their reading, writing, and comprehension skills.
I make lessons fun, interactive, and tailored to each student, using creative techniques and real-life examples to make learning meaningful. Being a student myself means I understand the challenges you face and can explain things in a way that actually makes sense.
I’m patient, reliable, and enthusiastic, and I love seeing students gain confidence and improve their grades. Whether you want to excel in exams, understand texts better, or just enjoy learning English, I’ll make sure our lessons are engaging, supportive, and productive.

Hi! I’m Ted, an A-level student with a passion for English. I achieved 9s in both English Language and Literature at GCSE and currently study English Literature, French, History, and Biology at A-level.
Teaching Methodology & Techniques:
I make lessons interactive and engaging, using real texts, writing exercises, and creative techniques that make learning enjoyable. I focus on explaining concepts clearly, building confidence, and improving exam skills while tailoring lessons to each student’s interests and pace.
Typical Lesson Length:
Lessons usually run 1 hour, but can be adjusted depending on your needs.
Experience & Qualifications:
I have experience helping classmates and volunteering at school events to support other students with English tasks. Combined with my strong GCSE results, this gives me a solid foundation to tutor effectively.
