About Iffy
I am available to tutor all subjects including Mathematics, English, Chemistry, Science, & Computer courses (K1-12 plus college-levels). Also have extensive experience with test prep (e.g. PSATs, ACTs, SATs, ISEE, SSAT, GRE and GMAT) and homeschooling. Foundation work and reading comprehension improvement programs. I have 20+ years experience. Flexible schedule/online location plus reasonable rates.
I do come up with a plan to address the specific issues of each student with result-driven solutions.
I have undergraduate degrees in Mathematics, Computer Engineering and an MBA too.
To the student my mantra is ""If you are struggling with a particular concept or idea - my end goal is to provide clarity. Tutoring times are flexible with online options (fully interactive with whiteboard and secure access). I do have experience with all ages - elementary, middle school, high school, college and folks returning to the classroom.
With the COVID-19 pandemic, distance/remote learning has become the new normal and parents and students alike struggle to make the adjustment. Let me get you on the path to success and halt the learning loss.

I love coming up with different methods to explain or teach material to people. For me - it's seeing the angst and frustration evident in a student who truly believes that they will never get it and the moment when the light bulb comes on and the connection is made! I have more than 20+ years worth of experience tutoring in multiple subjects and the two most important lessons that I have learnt is "always make it fun" and "always engage the pupil".

My children excelled in math and did well on their exams. They had a great rapport with their tutor and looked forward to the sessions.
Great Experience. Iffy takes the time to connect with you and then breaks down the topic. We have worked with her for years and consider her an asset to our son. Math courses 8th grade through the 12th grade plus, she also worked with him on test prep (taking the SATs) which he aced.
