About Linnea

I'm a half Swede half Brit and have lived more or less my whole life in Sweden. I spent one year in Bristol 2025-2026, but now I'm back home in Uppsala, Sweden, again. I'm a former Swedish as a second language teacher, and right now I teach bespoke Swedish lessons online by day, and carve spoons by night. :)

About the lesson

Tell me your requirements and let's start from there! I'm happy to teach you - whether you're a complete beginner or already an advanced learner who wants to polish the finer details. We can focus on grammar, talking, listening, reading and/or writing - in whatever mix that suits you the best.

I'm used to teaching students both for personal and professsional needs.

She is always well prepared for our lessons and goes above and beyond supporting homework task suggesting practice materials! As well as being a great teacher she is super friendly and sure to put you at ease :)

Perfect! I would absolutely recommend Linnea! I started lessons being able to read and write a little but having barely spoken a word of Swedish aloud, and was very nervous about speaking, but I already feel more confident after a few lessons. The lessons are fun and personalised with a mix of grammar, vocabulary and just chatting about whatever comes to mind! Linnea has also sent me lots of resources, podcasts etc. that I can practice with outside lessons. There’s a non-judgemental atmosphere in lessons so I’m not afraid to get things wrong!
