About Thomas
I’m 21 and have always enjoyed maths. This led me to study Mathematics at university. I really enjoy tutoring because it’s rewarding to see someone’s confidence grow and help them understand something they have previously found difficult.
Having recently been through GCSE and A-level I understand how challenging some topics can feel. I aim to make lessons relaxed, friendly and easy to ask questions in. I’m also keen to gain more experience working with students alongside my studies and develop skills that will be useful after university.

I’m happy to cater lessons around each student’s preferences and goals, whether that means building confidence, preparing for exams, or simply for the enjoyment of maths.
I’m currently on track for a First-Class Honours degree in Mathematics where I have studied pure and applied maths with a slight preference to pure. I have gained tutoring experience through the university.
I’m best suited to teaching GCSE and A-level Maths, but I’m also happy to work with primary school students.
I also am DBS checked
