About Jessie

I achieved a B.A. in Theatre Arts from USF in 2016, an M.B.A. from St. Leo in 2020, and Ed.S. from St. Leo in 2022, and an Ed.D. from St. Leo in 2024. I worked with Varsity Tutoring and Kelly Educational staffing starting in 2016. I am currently employed by Hillsborough County Public Schools.

About the lesson

I have been a tutor since 2016 in the areas of reading, writing, and math. I began substitute teaching in 2016 as well, traveling all across Hillsborough County to fill in and instruct a variety of subjects. I began teaching my own classes in the 2023-2024 school year, for Robinson High School. Robinson did not have an existing ASL program, so I got to build it from the ground up! Aside from achieving a Doctorate in Education in 2024, I have been using ASL since 2010. I myself am hearing, but I have educated hearing and Deaf students alike in ASL classes. ASL is one of my lifelong passions!
