Top 10 percentile scorer teaching GMAT, GRE, SAT, and ACT prep with a decade of tutoring experience

Started working on my GRE with this tutor about three months before my test date and it made a real difference. We went through both sections methodically: quant first, since that was my weaker area, then verbal. Every session had a clear focus, like ratios one week, reading comprehension strategy the next, instead of just random practice questions. The tutor explained not just how to solve problems but how to spot patterns so I could work faster under time pressure.

So I started because my partner's family speaks Italian at home, and I wanted to actually keep up instead of just nodding along. Each lesson has a mini theme; one week it's ordering food, the next week it's talking about your day, stuff like that, so it's never just random. We start with a quick recap of last time, then move into whatever the new topic is. The teacher explains grammar simply enough that I don't feel dumb when I mess up (which is often). We do some listening exercises too with short videos, which helped with understanding when people talk fast in real conversations. It's been a few months, and I can follow most of the conversation now and actually say stuff back sometimes. I would recommend it if you want to learn Italian for actual life reasons, not exams or whatever.

Did IELTS and GMAT prep with Nick, got my target scores after 6 months study. Strongly suggest!

I worked with Nick for several months on GMAT prep, and it made a massive difference not just in my score, but in how I approached the test overall. He's great at breaking down tricky quant concepts and really nails the strategy side of things too, which is honestly where I was struggling most (timing, process of elimination, knowing when to guess and move on).

Just found out I got into my third choice program, and I genuinely don't think I'd be here without the work we put in together.

A friend recommended him about a year ago and it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my Italian. He's so patient and makes lessons genuinely fun. I had a trip to Italy coming up and he completely shifted focus to help me prepare and it paid off HUGE. I was out there having real conversations. Can't recommend him enough!

Been doing Italian lessons with Nicholas for a few months. My partner's family is Italian and I wanted to actually connect with them instead of just nodding along at dinners, so he spent sessions on the phrases and little things that matter at a family table. Made a real difference the last time we visited. Patient, doesn't make you feel dumb when you butcher a word. Would recommend if you want lessons that feel like real conversations, not a textbook.

Found Nicholas through a Reddit thread a while back and I'm so glad I did. I've been learning with him for about 6 months now and it's made a huge difference. He's really patient and doesn't make you feel dumb when you mess up conjugations for the hundredth time (which, let's be honest, happens a lot when you're learning Italian).

What really stood out was when I had a trip to Italy coming up — Nicholas basically shifted our lessons to focus on stuff I'd actually need, like ordering food, small talk, asking for directions, that kind of thing. And it worked! I could actually hold conversations while I was there instead of just pointing at menus and hoping for the best.
