About Irene
Technique is often counterintuitive because the best sounds come from letting go of tension. You can expect a free trial lesson to check range and goals before we commit to a long-term plan.
I assess your current capacity for vocal range extension during these first few moments. Since I hold a Bachelor of Music, I emphasize the science behind resonance and healthy sound production. Absolute beginners, adults, and returning learners will find a space that values steady, incremental improvement.
I tend to favor a flexible approach that respects your comfort levels. We will keep the pressure low while the skill development remains consistent.

Breathing control and tone and resonance are your primary tools for vocal growth. You might feel stage fear management is impossible, but I have 13 years of performing experience to help you navigate that hurdle. Working with 165 students has shown me that head and chest voice transitions are universal challenges.
I prioritize warm up exercises to protect your instrument. Belting technique requires more than just volume, as pitch control is the true indicator of a skilled singer. I hope to help you find the voice you have been searching for all along.
