About Dr Sobhan Hatami
I am passionate about teaching and take pride in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. With a strong background in Chemical Engineering, I was honored as the top student in my department during my B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. studies. Over the past 10 years, I’ve gained extensive teaching experience at prestigious universities. In 2022, I was recognized as the Best Teaching Assistant at Monash University, a distinction awarded based on exceptional student feedback.
My teaching approach focuses on building a strong foundation by breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, reinforced with customized examples. This ensures that students not only grasp the material thoroughly but also achieve outstanding results in their exams.

I know Sobhan from Monash University. He has been a teaching assistant for a couple of units I studied.
He is highly knowledgeable and knows what he is talking. He explains the logic of any problem in the most simple way, is patient and doesn’t run away from explaining the content multiple times.
He has helped me with my assignments, unit content and even outside academics, he has been a great friend and a mentor.
