Hello! My name is Amber. If you are looking to truly understand the people, cultures, and events that shaped our world, you are in the right place. As an ancient and classical historian and an ESL teacher, I can offer a unique, two-pronged approach to tutoring. I don't just help you master historical facts and timelines; I also help you analyze the narratives, write compelling essays, and articulate your ideas with total confidence.
Serving as a United States Air Force veteran instilled in me a deep sense of discipline, adaptability, and professionalism—qualities I bring into every single tutoring session. Whether we are exploring the ruins of antiquity, diving into the rich cultural heritage of Italy, the UK, Ireland, or Mexico, or mastering the art of historical writing, my goal is to make learning engaging and highly accessible.

I have an undergraduate degree in History with a minor in Museum Studies. I'm currently working to complete a graduate degree in History with a concentration in Ancient and Classical History.
I will design a lesson plan based on what each student prefers, which includes just chatting about any historical topic. I will work with any grade level.
