About Ankur kumar

Hi, I’m Ankur Kumar Mishra, a passionate Social Studies tutor who believes that history, geography, and civics are more than just subjects—they are the keys to understanding our world! With a knack for storytelling and a love for engaging discussions, I strive to make learning an exciting journey rather than just memorizing facts. I specialize in bringing history to life, connecting past events to the present, and helping students see the relevance of social studies in their everyday lives. Whether it's analyzing historical events, debating societal issues, or exploring different cultures, I make sure my students gain knowledge that sticks with them. My approach is simple: Learn, Think, Apply. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and open discussions, ensuring that every student not only understands the subject but also enjoys it. Let’s make learning an adventure together! I completed my graduation in 2024.

About the lesson

If I were a teacher, my approach to sharing knowledge would focus on engagement, understanding, and application. Here’s how I would structure my teaching methods: *Student-Centered Learning Encouraging active participation rather than passive listening. 1. Real-World Connections Relating social studies (Political, Historical, Geographical, and Current Affairs) related concepts to current events and real-life situations. 2. Encouraging critical thinking by discussing different perspectives on historical and social issues. 3. Interactive Teaching Methods Incorporating group discussions, debates, and simulations to deepen understanding. Using multimedia tools (videos, maps, infographics) to enhance engagement. 4. Encouraging Independent Thought 5. Assessing Understanding and Providing Feedback
