About Kalin
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and many of my actual sessions are teaching about psychology, social skills, etc. so I’m already doing something very similar to tutoring lessons as my main work! I love to be helpful and have a long history of setting up study groups in college to help myself and my peers do well, and really emphasize meeting people where they’re at and figuring out what will help them most. I love a good challenge and teaching always poses at least one!

I take a low pressure but encouraging approach - my goal is for students to succeed! As a counselor “by day” I use psychology skills regularly and speak with other professionals about ethics, history, therapy modalities, etc. at least weekly. Lessons will be tailored around your individual needs, whether they are heavier grad-level courses or just trying to gain an understanding is psychology.
