About Miya
Hi! My name is Miya and I am a student at University of Sussex. I truly know what it's like to struggle academically, however, I managed to pull through and pass my GCSE's with high grades. If you're currently worried about your English grades, I truly think that I will be able to help you with the tips and tricks I picked up that were able to boost my grades to 8's and 9's.

As a tutor, I believe it is important to understand the student, where they struggle and how they learn. I will make a point of listening to my students and tailor my approach in order for them to achieve the best results and reach their fullest potential.
My lessons are typically an hour long, but I will do my best to make that hour engaging and interesting, and hopefully make the students love English as much as I do!
In my GCSE exams, I achieved a grade 8 in Literature and grade 9 in Language. Now, I have moved on to studying English Literature at the University of Sussex. As someone who passed GCSE English, I am excited to express my tips and tricks to other students in the same position.
