About Laurence
Teaching feels like passing the torch. I spent 13 years gigging across the American South to learn what truly matters in a performance.
My 91 students have helped me refine how I explain pitch control and resonance. I focus on vocal health and care to keep your instrument safe. I enjoy sharing the technical side of vocal range extension and belting. It is honestly just a joy to hear someone find their unique sound for the first time.

Singing often feels best when you stop trying to control every single note. You will start by exploring your natural range and learning how to support your voice properly. I draw on 13 years of live performing to teach harmony singing and tone placement. My BFA from Belmont University informs how I approach complex vocal arrangements.
It is important to stay chill during this process. Don't overthink it - making music should always be enjoyable.
