About Hanna
I have always enjoyed helping others learn, starting with supporting my younger brother with his studies from an early age. My experience as a teaching assistant further showed me that struggling with a subject does not necessarily mean a student is unable to learn it. Often, students simply need a learning approach that suits them, or have fallen behind and gradually lost confidence and motivation. I want to help students rebuild their foundations and confidence by connecting learning to their interests and designing lessons around their individual needs and goals.

I take a patient and personalised approach to tutoring, adapting each lesson to the student’s level, learning style, and goals. I have experience supporting over 30 secondary-school students with vocabulary, spoken English, and individual learning plans. I can teach GCSE-level Mathematics and Sciences, supported by AP scores of 5 in Biology, Chemistry, Calculus BC, Statistics, Psychology, and Computer Science A.
I can also teach Mandarin, beginner-level Korean and Japanese, and piano. I hold piano performance ABRSM Grade 8 distinction and ARSM merit qualifications.
My lessons usually last 45–60 minutes and combine clear explanations, practice, and personalised feedback.
