Let Me Help You Unleash Your Inner Mad Scientist!

My deep passion for biology, animal behavior, cell biology, and psychology is contagious, and I love helping students figure out how their minds work best. Whether you'd like to dive deep in the subject or just ace an upcoming exam, our tutoring sessions begin with co-creating a goal that you'd like to achieve and grow the lesson framework around that key objective. I take an eclectic and creative approach, tailoring my methods to fit your unique learning style.

Teaching Methods:

Science-backed Strategies: I draw on learning theories from cognitive neuroscience to boost information retention and apply insights from theories like Maslow's hierarchy of motivation and Dweck's goal-approach growth mindset to keep you engaged.

Neurodiversity-affirming: Understanding that brains learn differently, I cater to various learning styles and embrace neurodivergent strengths.

Lesson Structure:
We'll work together to build a flexible plan that addresses your specific needs. This could involve:

-Deep Dives: Mastering complex topics in cell biology or animal behavior.
-Test Prep: Acing your biology SAT/ACT subject tests or high school exams.
-Project Powerhouse: Developing and refining research projects.
-Biohacking Brainstorming: Bringing your DIY biohacking ideas to life!

Who I Help:
My lessons cater to a wide range of students, from high schoolers tackling their first biology class to college students delving deeper into specific areas.
