My first lessons would focus mainly on discussing and addressing any problem areas for the student, and what their goals are for the tutoring sessions. We would then make a road map on how to achieve this goal through sessions. First, I would go over any material they seem to be struggling with, and then use the materials in problems and questions that the student and I will go through step by step, Until the student can go through problems by themselves and solve them flawlessly.

Excellent! Ollie has been very supportive and helped me fill my knowledge gaps. He’s provided good online support and offline work to complete. Good communication throughout with flexibility to fit either mine or his schedule, thanks.
- We went through Some questions on Logarithmic and exponential equations, Joseph seemed to understand the method used in solving these problems. However to gain complete understanding of this topic it will take extra practise and time.Ollie's response :
