About Calvin
I'm Calvin, a junior studying physics with a love for helping others understand challenging concepts. I've been tutoring throughout college because I find it incredibly rewarding when something clicks for a student who's been struggling. What matters most to me is creating a space where you feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I remember how intimidating some of these subjects felt when I first encountered them, so I approach every session with patience and understanding. I'm here to support you, not judge you. Outside of academics, I enjoy coding side projects, coffee, cycling and playing badminton.

How I Teach:
I guide students to discover answers themselves through thoughtful questions rather than just explaining everything upfront. This builds real problem-solving skills that stick. I adapt to how each student learns best and connect abstract ideas to practical, real-world situations that actually make sense.
What a Typical Lesson Looks Like:
We start with a quick review of what we covered last time, then dive into new material through discussion and examples. We work through problems together first, then you try some independently while I'm there to help. Each session wraps up with a recap and preview of what's coming next.
