About Penny
My name is Penny Kristensen and I am a second-year undergraduate student studying BSc criminology and psychology at Royal Holloway, University of London. I have always had a passion for the sciences which I exercised through my Biology, Chemistry and Psychology A-level choices. I later chose psychology/criminology at undergraduate level due to my desire to pursue psychology within legal and investigative sectors.
I have been tutoring AQA GCSE Biology for a year now and hope to extend my knowledge of the subject and experience of the examination process to upcoming GCSE applicants. However, beyond just teaching content, I would love to be able to inspire others and potentially share my passion for scientific study with younger individuals who are still deciding what they wish to study at more advanced levels.

GCSE biology tutor lessons focused on clearly explaining the complex processes and principles involved in biology. Each one-hour session will provide engaging methods of study, encouraging techniques in memorising content and following examination format. Sessions will include breaking down the GCSE biology syllabus, working on areas that a student may particularly be struggling with, and completing previous exam questions.
