About Elizabeth
I was a student who struggled often with understanding lessons in school, and I was really worried about missing out on content. When I started lessons through private tutoring I felt more confident in asking questions and knowing if I got an answer wrong it was ok and could learn from my mistakes. I became more confident in school and I went on to achieve top grades to progress in my dream career. I believe everyone has different learning styles and each one should be encouraged and supported. I want to tutor to support other students in their education and make them more confident in themselves and their ability.

I base my tutoring on three key factors. 1) Trying 2) Adapting 3) Achieving. Trying exam questions on a particular topic to see where the level of understanding is. Adapting my teaching to what best fits with your learning, this can be through pictures, music, talking, writing etc. And finally, achieving our end results we will go back to exam questions in that topic to see how our learning has developed. This will finish with memory fun where we will create a ‘fun’ action that will help us memorise what we have learnt.
