About Charlie
I am a current third year undergraduate student studying English Literature with Creative writing at university, and I am interested in going on to teach English in secondary schools.
I have previous experience tutoring students for the 11+, and at GCSE and A level, as well as work experience in schools - both primary and secondary.

We can work together in a student-led fashion to understand where the students strengths and weaknesses are, allowing them to get the most out of tutoring by focusing on the areas where they struggle. Tutoring is offered up to A Level for students wanting to improve their English skills, whether it be for an exam or with spelling and reading.
Whether the student is trying to work towards a high grade, or just wanting to boost their work to a pass, we can figure out their goal and aim towards it together. I have worked previously with grammar school students and those just looking to pass their GCSE.
Lessons can be as short as half an hour or as long as two hours depending on what works best for the student and whether they prefer short bursts of work or need more time to get into the subject.
