About Amelie
I am an undergraduate studying microbiology at the University of Nottingham. I am passionate about infectious diseases, epidemiology, and the rise of anti-microbial resistance. I'm a keen badminton player and plant collector.
I also enjoy teaching and I'm passionate about watching my students grow in confidence and celebrate their own successes. My lessons are free from judgement and I encourage my students not to fear failure; no one is perfect.

I like to help students break down exam questions and pull out the relevant information to boost exam accuracy under time pressure. I also ensure that the student has multiple learning and memorisation tools to help fully understand and learn a diverse exam specification.
I have 9 GCSEs in grades 8-9, an A in AS level Further Maths, 2 A*s in A-level Maths and Biology, and an A in A-level Chemistry.
I have been tutoring for over 3 years, and all of my students have improved their grades.
My lessons are for students in KS3 to A-level.
