About Carolina
I graduated from UCSB in 2019 and have since dedicated my career to supporting students within the school system. Currently, I serve as a Paraprofessional, where I specialize in providing one-on-one and small-group support for students with IEPs who find Mathematics challenging.
My professional background gives me a unique perspective on the hurdles students face in the classroom. I am passionate about bridging the gap for those who feel left behind by traditional teaching methods. Whether your student has a specific learning disability or simply a 'math phobia,' I bring the patience, professional training, and academic background necessary to help them reach their full potential.

As a UCSB graduate and current Paraprofessional, I specialize in making math accessible to everyone. My experience working with IEP students has taught me that there is no 'one-size-fits-all' way to learn. I use differentiated instruction to break down complex algebraic and geometric concepts into manageable, bite-sized steps.
Whether you have a specific learning plan (IEP) or are simply a student who feels overwhelmed in class, my goal is to create a judgment-free environment.
