About Madison
I’m a University of Florida graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and a certificate in GIS. My academic background includes archaeology, statistics, science, history, research, and writing, along with hands-on experience in archaeological fieldwork and museum collections.
I currently work at a local school, providing K–3 reading intervention and supporting students in 4th–8th grade math. While my current school-based work focuses on these grade levels, my academic background and tutoring interests extend to students of all ages, including those seeking support in advanced subjects such as statistics, anthropology, archaeology, and the sciences.
I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence, work through challenging material, and discover subjects they may not have realized they could enjoy. I believe every student learns differently, and I strive to create a welcoming, patient, and encouraging environment tailored to their individual needs. As a University of Florida graduate, I bring a strong academic and research background while keeping lessons approachable and engaging. I focus on breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps, building confidence, and helping students understand the material rather than simply memorize answers.
