About Lena
Strumming patterns and complex blues progressions are my primary tools for building musical literacy. Honestly, I have spent 13 years refining these techniques to ensure students grasp the core mechanics of the instrument. Playing acoustic and electric styles requires a grounded approach to theory and fingerpicking accuracy.
My background from Guadalajara influences how I structure these lessons to maintain a high energy level. I aim to keep the atmosphere light while focusing on the technical requirements of the fretboard. Music is a craft that demands persistence but rewards the student with genuine growth.
These sessions are built to encourage kids, teens, and absolute beginners to find their rhythm quickly. My style focuses on keeping the groove central to every practice session.

Sometimes I admit that music theory feels like a chore until you hear it in a song. Because I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music, I interpret these patterns through a lens that simplifies difficult concepts for performance-focused students.
This 13 years of experience allows me to spot exactly where a beginner struggles with their acoustic technique. We prioritize the flow of the music over rigid mechanical perfection during the first few weeks.
