About Halden
I am currently enrolled at the University of Oregon as a political science major with a legal studies minor. In high school, I took over 10 AP classes and various dual enrollment classes which are helping me graduate a year and a half early (so I am a big advocate for advanced classes in high school). Studying has been a big part of my life for quite some time, but so has helping others understand their own schoolwork.

I approach teaching history as a foundation for understanding how our world works today, this keeps the lesson interesting and encourages engagement. I feel it's important to focus on the students interests and to tie other parts of the lesson back to what gets them excited to learn. I can teach high school government and history, as well as AP U.S. History, AP World History, and AP Government and politics!
