University Professor of Persian Language and Literature teaches Standard and Colloquial Persian for all levels.

I had the opportunity to learn Farsi with Professor Fatima while studying business, and she was an incredibly patient and supportive teacher. She tailored her teaching approach to my needs and made learning the language feel engaging and practical alongside my university studies. She was always willing to explain concepts in different ways and encouraged me to practise speaking rather than simply memorising vocabulary and grammar. Over time, I became much more confident communicating in Farsi and was able to hold full conversations. I would highly recommend Professor Fatima to anyone looking to learn Farsi, particularly alongside their university studies.

A very kind, patient and understanding teacher. I started learning Persian with Professor Fatima in medical school as an international student. She would explain things again whenever we didn’t understand something and was always willing to help. She made the classes feel enjoyable rather than just being about memorising words or grammar. Over time, I became quite comfortable with the language and communicating in Persian. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Persian.

I grew up in and currently live in Sydney, Australia. Fatima has been an outstanding teacher in helping me learn to speak Farsi. She is incredibly patient, and her teaching approach is highly individualised to my needs. I've found this especially valuable, as it has allowed me to learn at my own pace. As a result, I am now able to hold full conversations in Farsi!
